Hi all and good Monday to you! I have started a new but short little devotional and this verse was the focus verse for yesterday. I love this verse as it serves as a reminder to me to be mindful of what I say and what I choose to let my heart park on…
Psalm 19:14 “May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to You, Oh Lord, my rock and my redeemer.”
Sometimes I think we can forget that the words we speak and what our hearts are focused on can PLEASE the Lord, not just displease Him. What we say to one another… and ourselves… can be a form of worship. Meaning, if we speak words of encouragement then we are pleasing the Lord, thus worshiping Him. What we choose to let our hearts dwell on is also worship. We tend to look at the word “dwell” as a negative thing, but the word dwell simply means to live or stay somewhere. So let’s allow our hearts to live in a place of worship!
May we worship God today with our words and heart actions. Blessings to you my table family and have a beautiful Monday!
