Hi table family. How is everyone holding up? I have been at home for a month now and haven’t left the house at all. I’ve taken a walk around my block several times but nothing more. Has it been like that for you too?
I’m going to have a pretty short post this week because I’d like to pray for you. Really… I’d love for you to give me a prayer request and I’ll respond with a prayer for each individual request. I feel like that is the best medicine right now.
There is no request to small or insignificant. I have been praying for people who have contracted the virus, those who have lost their jobs, folks battling depression from the stress due to what’s happening… and for peoples boredom, loneliness, and just for someone to talk to. Our Father hears every prayer. So please… don’t feel like your request is not important or not as valid. I’d really love to pray for you…
Ephesians 6:18 “Pray in the spirit at all times and on every occasion stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.”
This is Me
Hi, I’m Cyndi! I am a wife to a wonderful God-fearing man for almost twenty years. I am a mom to an ambitious comedic eighteen-year-old son and a spirited fun-loving sixteen-year-old daughter. I love to cook, create anything I can think of to make, talk and visit with friends and even strangers, and of course I love to write. Along with the writing, I love to read what other people write as well. I would love to live in the south somewhere but for now I live more in the suburbs of a town in Michigan. Oh yeah… and I’m almost blind. This means that I have to do things a little differently. It takes a little more time and a little more patience to get things done, but they get done. I was told of my eye disease when I was nine years old. At forty-four, they still cannot diagnose what I have for certain. However, I won’t sit still while they try and figure it out. Each day brings different challenges and some of the same as well. Navigating new territory is the most difficult thing for me to do, but I refuse to be held back and take the chance on missing out on an exciting new adventure. My bucket list holds adventures like parasailing, visiting Ireland, having at least one book published, and I’m sure there are more that I haven’t listed yet. Painting word pictures is my therapy and sanctuary. I use life as my brushes and paint. Lite me a candle, put on the spa music and a-writing I will go. Come on this journey with me, I hope you can find some new colors you like.

Cyndi, thank you so much. Prayers would be so appreciated for a young man named Danny who is battling COVID-19 and in ICU…A dear friend’s family who lost her father in law and brother in law to COVID-19 within a 2 wk period. And, as you know, my mother in law’s home was destroyed by a tornado on Dec.16. This past Sun. 7 families in our church received extensive damage or total losses to their homes in the tornado outbreak. The devastation is unbelievable. 3 lives were lost in our county, with many more in surrounding areas. Thank you for offering to lift these requests with us to our Lord and Savior.
Hello Tonya! It is so wonderful to hear from you! I’ve wondered how you’ve been doing and how your family has been since the tragedy in December. I will certainly lift up these requests…
Father in Heaven, I lift up Danny to you Lord and ask for healing to take place. You know Father, that he is battling this virus and he needs Your healing touch Lord. I also ask for healing of this precious womans heart who has lost loved ones to this virus. Father we grieve losses but You can and will restore our souls. Lord You know the devastation that has taken place in Tonya’s community and I ask that You intercede as only You can Lord. More hearts are grieving losses from the tornado that took place and so I ask for Your intervention. Heal this community of believers Lord and help them to call on and lean on You during this time. In Jesus name, Amen.
Thank you for letting me pray for you friend and keep in touch 🙂
Could you please pray that my partner and my stepdad make up. We are starting in their front yard in our fifth-wheel until the travel ban are lifted and it is making it a very stressful situation right now.
Hi Cheryl! I’m glad you reached out with a request. Indeed I will lift this up in prayer…
Father in Heaven, would You please bring peace and restoration to these two individuals who have some tension between them? Father You are a God of peace and we ask for that peace now Lord. Soften the hearts of all that are involved and let there be harmony in this family again. Father these times are stressful and the enemy would love to see broken relationships and family discord. Rebuke the enemy Lord and guard this family against the enemies attacks. In Jesus name, Amen.
Thank you for allowing me the privilege of praying for you my friend. Blessings to you 🙂
Oh Cheryl! Praise God! Our hearts are so much more at peace when strife is settled. I’m so glad for you all. This is indeed a praise! You have given me such a blessing by filling me in on the answered prayer… thank you! Blessings my friend! 🙂
