A Message for Monday

Good Monday morning everyone! How is the table family doing with week two of staying in? Has it been good to be home or are you feeling claustrophobic? Have you gotten a lot done around your house or have you been feeling like you don’t want to do anything at all?

Do you feel like it’s been difficult to see Jesus through all of this? Does it feel like He hasn’t been working throughout this pandemic? I’d like to share a verse with you about the work Jesus has done and continues to do…

John 21:25 says “Now there are also many other things that Jesus did, were everyone of them to be written I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.” (ESV)

We read about the miraculous things that Jesus did while here on earth, but there are so many more things that He did and still does. So many that ALL the books in the whole world couldn’t contain all the things Jesus has done! Think about that for a moment… every single book in the world right now, if they were all written about Jesus, could not contain all He has done. That sort of takes my breath away! So think of this verse when you are tempted to feel like Jesus isn’t doing anything. Look for what He has done… you’ll see Him.

Have a blessed Monday friends 🙂

  1. Wow. Never thought about the books being filled with things Jesus did. What a mind-blowing concept to think on.

    1. Isn’t it? Imagine all the books you’ve ever read Cheryl and everyone of them were filled with what Jesus had done… and that would only be the ones YOU had read! Mind blowing is exactly the phrase to use. Hope you are well and staying safe. Blessings.
