We need peace… not panic.

Hi all. I hope as this Corona Virus has taken hold, you have been able to spend time at home around your own tables connecting with your families.

There is so much happening in our world right now and it would be easy to get caught up in the panic of what’s going on around us. We want to make sure our family is safe and healthy so we hit the stores, along with everyone else, in hopes to find just one bottle of Lysol and a four pack of toilet paper.

May I take this brief moment and share a verse with you? Perhaps while waiting for the shelves to be restocked, we could look this one up together and screen shot it and use it as our phone wall paper…

John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you, not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” (ESV)

This… this my friends is the promise we need to cling to. Promises of restocked toilet paper and cleaners is finite. We serve an infinite God whose promises are much more reliable and will never be out of stock. His shelves will never be bare. You will never have to be price gouged for what you need from Him. He always has fully stocked shelves.

I know things are scary right now but God has given us a “do not fear” promise 365 times in His word, that’s one for every day of the year! It’s not dependent on the conditions of our world. Trust in your Father, He knows what you need and has a complete supply for everyone! Love you all and stay healthy! Blessings.
