Hi all and happy Foodie Friday! Where I am, it’s FAAAAAAA REEEEEEEZING! So when we want to just stay in for the weekend, we like to make these Tortilla Pizzas. Everyone tops their own with whatever they like.
My husband just does sauce and cheese, I like the works! Such as:
Cheese
Onion
Black/Green Olives
Turkey Pepperoni
Turkey Sausage
Turkey Bacon
Banana Peppers
Pineapple
Mushrooms
etc.
All you need are some Tortilla shells and pizza sauce and your on your way to thin crust pizzas! Spread a semi-thin layer of sauce on the tortilla, leaving about 1/2 an inch on the edges. Sprinkle on a little pizza or just mozzarella cheese. Begin putting on your sliced and diced toppings. Keep in mind, the more toppings you have, the heavier your pizza will be and likely to collapse. Secure your toppings with more cheese as desired. Heat oven to 425 degrees F. You can fit 2 pizzas on to a large cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. You can also spray a sheet with cooking spray if your pans allow. Bake pizzas for about 5 minutes, watching them after 3 minutes or so. Slice and enjoy when they are done! Hope you like this version of thin crust pizzas! Have a great weekend and stay warm!
